Also, with regard to VMC/Volt/etc, it was explained to me during one of my interviews there – during the more stringent hiring process for more regular contractors than the bull pen clown car – that VMC/Volt exists solely so Microsoft doesn’t get pwned by lawyers for treating temp workers like dirt.
Please also note Sam’s description of the men’s restroom, which is actually shockingly worse than my experience. However, please do not read said description while eating. It is quoted after the break.
Men should not expect the same pleasant experience. When I was there, the men’s bathroom had urine on the floor, urine on the stalls, urine on the walls, and once there was feces in the sink.
