Instead of that, I have to use my powers as a bugzilla admin to look through the user database and find the e-mail address of the person I want, since otherwise I might use the wrong one.

A god-damned e-mail address! What is this, 1998? Am I on a fucking NeXT here?

Give me a god damned list with AJAX and offer me a drop-down autocompleted list of people when I start typing their name.

One of the best features in Burnout Paradise is also one I haven’t seen mentioned or advertised anywhere. After you have put down the controler for a few seconds, it swaps to Picture Paradise mode. The screen, which is otherwise black and white, displays some nice angles of the local scenery as the camera swoops between buildings or other landmarks in the vicinity. Classical music is queued up in the background and you can hear some cars drive by (quietly) in the distance. A few cars pass under the viewpoint and create a doppler effect.

This is a great feature for any high pitched action game to have. You aren’t penalized for taking a break, in fact, you’re rewarded with this bit of relaxation. Get up, use the restroom, make some toast, enjoy the music and automated camera work, call your girlfriend. Then press any button on the controller and resume your terrible fit of vehicle bloodsport while the “ea trax” resume from where they left off when the classical music started.
Brilliant.
